Personal Information

Michela Goffredo is Research Assistant at Biomedical Engineering Laboratory (Biolab3) of the Applied Electronics Department, University Roma TRE.
She received the degree in Electronic Engineering and from the University Roma TRE in 2003. Her master thesis dealt with markerless posture analysis. She has got a PhD in Biomedical Electronics, where her research regarded image processing for human motion analysis in rehabilitation. In 2007-2008 she has been Senior Research Assistant at the School of Electronics and Computer Science of the University of Southampton, where she worked in the Information: Signals, Images, Systems Research Group (ISIS) together with Prof. Mark Nixon and Dr. John Carter. Her research activity regarded Gait Biometrics, Human Motion Analysis and, Image Processing.

Michela is currently involved in research on Human Motion Analysis, Brain Computer Interface, Functional Electrical Stimulation. She is appointed Lecturer for the course on "Neuroengineering" at the School of Engineering in the University of Roma TRE.

Interests: human motion analysis, human-computer interface, image processing, markerless, biomechanics, biometrics, computer vision, gait analysis.
